and literally stopped all of the city of san francisco here off market street. you could call it the just take position of fairly peaceful cyclist think they are peaceful and making a peaceful movement but extremely disruptive and ter creating very angry from us stated drivers on an strrdly busy friday night on the san francisco streets. let's get you to the video we have been shooting all night. we started with cyclist at embarcadero and folsom just before 7 tonight. critical mass cyclist baby and family. the whole -- no audio] people moving at the end of week. the man had tried given up getting home. he pulled the phone out and took video. we have more video about 20 minutes later we got a mile and a half up the row he had to zero magnet and o'farrell whether it was a complete standstill but i stress 20 minutes for us was actually fast. we were following the cyclist with the police escorting them so we got to whiz right through all of this cars at stand still throughout the city on market street. tens of thousands of cyclist made their way toward union square and as you can see thousa

in to investigate a fire in vallejo that would be a case of domestic terrorism. it burned the offices of the city's mayor. investigators are trying to figure out who might want to target that mayor and why. >> when vallejo mayor saw the magnitude of the damage to the law office he shares with attorney michael thompson, he couldn't help but shed a few tears. the fire was reported at about 1:30 saturday morning at the small office building just across from the solano county superior court. they believe someone set the fire intentionally. >> suspicious fire at this time. it's under investigation. we hopefully will have more information in the coming days. >> vallejo police said the same building has been targeted by vandals in the past few months who have thrown rocks through windows. and while investigators search for a motive for the fire, they say they're now looking at all of the possibilities including if mayor davis has any political enemies who would want to target him. >> the fact that it involves the mayor of vallejo and the fact that he's a high profile figure in the city could be classifi

because of the higher volume of traffic into the city as we continue to the 6:00 hour. the san mateo bridge is a good alternate for you if your coming from the nimitz freeway. head up the loot was no one if you're trying ahead and to san francisco. they're taking 20 minutes to get between hayward and the foster city side the bridge. no problems of the north bay towards the golden gate bridge. it is still a smooth ride to downtown san francisco. the east shore freeway is trouble-free all playdown to the oakland a's. just remember you have all that traffic waiting for yet at the toll plaza. walnut creek looks good no problems there and telling towards 580 this is the slowest commute for now. it is jammed up from 2 05 margin on to west land at to the all to my id is going to be a slow commute is stop and go. less than 50 m.p.h. as we have to the 680. it should be trouble-free as you head into the northbound traffic. if you're heading to the airport this morning you will see no problems on 11 or highway 280 as you work your way through san francisco and down to the south bay. >> make sur

will cost you. the expansion of the city's plastic bag ban goes in to affect tomorrow. in 2007, san francisco passed a law prohibiting grocery stores and chain pharmacies from using plastic bags. this new law bans the standard plastic bag from all retailers and it requires businesses to charge customers 10 cents for any other type of bag they give out. restaurants are exempt, but only for the next year. >>> the a's continue to thrill this season. they are one game closer to the playoffs after beating the mariners today. fans went crazy with this go-ahead homer in this eighth inning. there it goes. very nice. it has been six years since the team has been to post-season play. some fans are talking destiny. >> really exciting. they are so young. >> at the beginning of the year, just a bunch of words because they weren't going anywhere. all of a sudden they are going somewhere. >> yes, we are going somewhere. oakland dropped the number to two for clinching the number's first playoff birth since 2006. the rangers come to the final three games starting on monday with the division crown up
